Set up email for your domain
Create the mailbox in your hosting control panel, then use the server names and secure connection settings shown for that account. Configure the domain’s MX records for incoming mail and SPF, DKIM and DMARC for sender authentication.
If your email stays with another provider, preserve its DNS records when connecting the website. Avoid replacing your existing email configuration with default hosting records.
Move mailboxes with a separate plan
List every mailbox, alias and forwarder; check existing storage; copy historical messages and test sending and receiving before switching delivery. Keep the source email service available during verification.
Email authentication improves trust signals but does not guarantee inbox placement. Review sender reputation, content and receiving-provider responses as well as DNS.
Keep important correspondence recoverable
Check whether mailbox backups are enabled for your plan or add-on. Standard website and database snapshots should not be treated as complete email protection.
